Elite Entertainment have been providing our professional DJ and Master of Ceremony services for over 30 years, making your memories magical.

At Elite Entertainment, we know that not all DJs are created equally – there is bad sprinkled amongst the good. We also understand how important the entertainment at your special day is to you. Your wedding is one of the most important days in your life and you want and deserve the absolute best. You need to trust that every aspect of your big day will be of the highest quality, including choosing the best wedding entertainment. As a result, Elite Entertainment focuses on guaranteeing you get only the best.

Your wedding is special, not only because it celebrates the love you have for one another, but also for the bringing together of two families.

What can you expect from us?

Your wedding is unique – there is no “one size fits all”. From background music to play through the wedding breakfast, your first dance, to songs that have a special meaning for you and your family, every wedding will be different.

Therefore, at Elite Entertainment, we will work with you to plan every aspect of your wedding entertainment. We will fully engage with you via email, telephone and even provide face to face meetings to ensure that we know exactly what you want. As a result, you can be assured that we will deliver everything you need for your special day.

Whether you want us to act as Master of Ceremony throughout the day, to provide microphones for the speeches, coordinate your first and last dances, or just make sure that everyone has a great time, we will ensure that your needs are met.

Music planning

We could turn up on the day of your wedding and just take a best guess at what music you want, and just hope for the best. Don’t get us wrong, we are knowledgeable enough to work the room and figure out what will work. However, what about all those special songs that mean so much to you and your family?

Obtaining a comprehensive list from the bride and groom forms an integral part of our initial planning meetings. As a result, we can determine your tastes and preferences.

Top 10 tracks

10 tracks for the bride, and another 10 tracks for the groom will form the basis for your evening, ensuring that even amongst the excitement and enjoyment of your day, you will have your chance to hit the dancefloor.

First and last dance

Everyone knows about the importance of your first dance – that song that means everything to you both. However, for many couples a last dance is also important. This gives your guests a chance to see you off as you depart the reception for your honeymoon.

Other special tracks

Maybe you have a special track in mind for the cutting of the cake? Or that song that means so much for the father/daughter dance? We understand how important those moments can be, and we will do everything we can to ensure we meet every expectation.

Do Not Play songs

Everyone has their own personal likes and dislikes, particularly where it comes to music. We remember that this is your special day, and if you do not want to hear a particular song, we will ensure you don’t hear it.

Setting up

With Elite Entertainment, you are booking only the very best. As a result, we will do everything possible to ensure we do not interfere with you or your guests. We will do what we can to remain invisible until you actually need to see us perform.

We will work around you, ensuring that we set-up without disrupting your day in any way. If that means we need to arrive early, we will do so. As a minimum, we will always ensure that we have completed set-up and all sound checks at least 1 hour before the entertainment is due to start.

If you are using us as Master of Ceremony for the day, we will ensure that the sound system is fully set up and ready to go in time for the first announcements you need.

Let the fun begin

Once the entertainment starts, we will use the tracks you have provided as a starting base from which to build. We will also encourage your guests to make requests to ensure that the whole event goes with a bang. We pride ourselves on professionally mixing tracks using BPM. In this way, we aim to avoid embarrassing and ugly gaps in between music, and keep the flow of music, fun and dancing going all night long.

We will read the crowd, using requests and response on the dancefloor, and crossing multiple genres to ensure the widest possible enjoyment for you and your guests.

The end of the day, beginning of your lives together

The end of the night is just as important as the start, especially if the bride and groom are leaving for the honeymoon. We will coordinate this and make sure that everyone knows that the happy couple are due to depart.

We will make sure that everyone makes it to the dancefloor to join you for your departure dance, and to see you off in style.

You may plan to stay around until the very end of the night (it IS your day after all). However, sometimes your guests may need to leave early – travel, babysitters, taxis etc. It might be advisable to have a “fake ending”, with the bride and groom having a last dance before people start to leave. That way, your guests can show you their support and appreciation before the inevitable drawing down of the night. However you choose to end the night, we will end the day as professionally as we started. We will quickly and unobtrusively remove our equipment from the venue and ensure that we keep the venue staff as happy as you are.
